IT Ukraine Association, organisation representing the digital industry in Ukraine, has joined the CEE Digital Coalition. – In the time of high demand for Ukrainian IT services and products globally, and as international companies are entering the Ukrainian market, IT Ukraine Association is ready to become the entry point – Tetiana Ilieva said during her speech in Warsaw.

–To our friends I say: welcome to our coalition. I’m sure that together we will build the digital future of our region – Kanownik said, while announcing the newest member of CEE Digital Coalition at CEE Digital Summit in Warsaw.

Tetiana Ilieva, Project Coordinator at IT Ukraine Association attented the conference, thanked the coalition and talked about the current state of the digital sector in Ukraine.   – The war started a new countdown in the history of the digital sector in Ukraine. In recent years, during the pandemic we learned that being prepared for different, unexpected situations and adapting to them is crucial. Despite that, the war brought new challenges upon us. Constant shelling, having territories occupied and the forced migration of employees are just the tip of the iceberg. It has been a difficult time for the sector, but the IT industry proved its resilience and flexibility. Ukraine is the new silicon valley. In 2022 we made 7.4 billion US dollars from IT exports, 10% more than the year before – Ilieva saidduring the conference.

–Thinking ahead, after our victory plenty of IT expertise will be needed and Ukraine IT is the place to get it. We are the largest national association of IT companies, representing interests of more than 90 thousands of IT professionals. Our main products are communication and information services and task is to highlight the current issues, verbalize problems, offer ideas and solutions, and then share them with partners – Ilieva added.
